Fish one of Minnesota’s Top 20 Walleye lakes! Lake Kabetogama holds many game fish including: Walleye, Sauger, Northern Pike, Small-Mouth Bass, Crappie, Perch and more. If you are looking for some fishing fun, you will find plenty on this lake. Here at Grandview of Lake Kabetogama, we have boat and pontoon rentals available to get you out on the water. Maybe you would like a fishing guide, we can connect you with one. Nothing beats a great day of fishing!

FISHING LICENSE
To legally fish in Minnesota, all residents of Minnesota, age 16 to 89, must have a current Minnesota fishing license unless an exemption applies. You must carry your license when fishing or traveling from an area where you were fishing. All nonresidents need a license except those age 15 and younger do not need a license if a parent or guardian is licensed.

MINNESOTA DNR FISHING  REGULATIONS

*Walleye Slot & Possession Limit specific to KABETOGAMA LAKE (including Sullivan Bay and Ash River), NAMAKAN LAKE, SAND POINT LAKE, CRANE LAKE (including Vermillion Gorge and Echo River) and Little Vermillion (including Loon River up to Loon Falls) all in St. Louis County.

Walleye/Sauger • 5/11/24 – 2/23/25 • *POSSESSION LIMIT: Six (6) combined Walleye/Sauger, only four (4) may be Walleye (Walleye have a white tip on tail/Sauger have spots on dorsal fin). No size limit on Sauger. All walleye from 18-26″ must be immediately released, one over 26″ allowed in possession.

Northern Pike • 5/11/24 – 2/23/25 • POSSESSION LIMIT: Two (2) total, all Northern Pike from 30-40″ must be immediately released, only one over 40″ allowed in possession.
