Fish one of Minnesota’s Top 20 Walleye lakes! Lake Kabetogama holds many game fish including: Walleye, Northern Pike, Small-Mouth Bass, Crappie, Perch and more. If you are looking for some fishing fun, you will find plenty on this lake. Here at Grandview, we have boat and pontoon rentals available to get you out on the water. Maybe you would like a fishing guide, we can line that up for you as well. Nothing beats a great day of fishing!

We provide fish cleaning and packaging services here at the resort. Catch your limit and let us take care of the rest! Our fish cleaning house is also available for guest use. Be sure to follow regulations for transporting fish properly.

FISHING LICENSE:
To legally fish in Minnesota, all residents of Minnesota, age 16 to 89, must have a current Minnesota fishing license unless an exemption applies. You must carry your license when fishing or traveling from an area where you were fishing. All nonresidents need a license except those age 15 and younger do not need a license if a parent or guardian is licensed.

MINNESOTA DNR FISHING  REGULATIONS (2017)

SEASON: Walleye/Sauger • May 13, 2017-Feb. 25, 2018 • *POSSESSION LIMIT: 6 combined Walleye/Sauger, only four may be Walleye (Walleye have a white tip on tail/Sauger have spots on dorsal fin). No size limit on Sauger. All Walleye from 17-28″ must be immediately released, only one over 28″ allowed in possession. Walleye Possession Limit specific to KABETOGAMA LAKE including Sullivan Bay and Ash River to Ash River Falls (St. Louis County).

SEASON:  Northern Pike • May 13, 2017-Feb. 25, 2018 • POSSESSION LIMIT: 3 Northern, only one over 30″ allowed in possession.
